favorite track's betting pool from the comfort of your own home. </p>
<p> Pari-mutuel is a French term meaning "mutual stake". It refers to a wagering
system where players wager money into a pool, which is divided between winners.

<p>Wagers can be placed up to post time - when the horses begin entering the gate.
Wagers are transmitted within seconds from the player's personal computer to
our licensed wagering jurisdiction through the pari-mutuel wagering pools of
the host tracks. Wagering information is updated in real-time during events
on our "virtual tote board" within the interface. </p>
<p>We have teamed up with strategic partners including AmTote, The Daily Racing
Form, Bloodstock Research Services, Inc., and TrackData, to bring live pari-mutuel
wagering to the Internet. By presenting such strong and informative content
to potential players, we are breaking down the barriers for new players to learn
the excitement of pari-mutuel racing. </p>
<p>Our pari-mutuel wagering interface is Java-based. New users do not have to
download and install a bulky software package or request a CD be sent to them.
Because it is written in Java, Our pari-mutuel wagering interface is fully supported
on Macintosh and Linux operating systems. </p>
<p>We sign simulcast agreements with each track. A percentage of every dollar
wagered into the common pool is paid to the track, who in turn make payments
to their state for taxes and to their horsemen. Wagering via our pari-mutuel
interface helps support the pari-mutuel industry and the athletes themselves.

<p>Experts and novices alike have a wide selection of wagering options for each
race. All standard North American bet types (Win, Place, Show) and exotic bet
types (Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Daily Double, Pick-N, Omni, Double
Exacta, Double Quinella) are offered. </p>
<p>Minimum System Requirements: Modem with 28.8 BPS connection speed Version 4.0
browser or higher (IE or Netscape recommended) Browser must be java-capable
and accept cookies.</p>
